Summary

You won't be able to put it down。I almost read it all in one night！ This book is a bit like The Hunger Games。 It's full of action， betrayal， confusing emotions， & wolves。 It's a competition to see what type of lives humans forced to leave their families have with the wolves。 They don't get to choose what their fate is。 It is decided for them by a points system。 Once Poppy learns the truth of some of the girls fate she is horrified！ I love Johanna！ A true fighter who won't take no for an answer。 You won't be able to put it down。I almost read it all in one night！ This book is a bit like The Hunger Games。 It's full of action， betrayal， confusing emotions， & wolves。 It's a competition to see what type of lives humans forced to leave their families have with the wolves。 They don't get to choose what their fate is。 It is decided for them by a points system。 Once Poppy learns the truth of some of the girls fate she is horrified！ I love Johanna！ A true fighter who won't take no for an answer。 And I love Nova！At the beginning I really loved Madame Dolphins。 However towards the end I'm not so sure。 She's like Alpha Ryne hot and cold toward Poppy at times。 。。。more

This story was fantastic。 The storyline kept me mesmerized。 You could feel emotions coming off the pages。 The first born being sacrificed to the shifter wolves as slaves are bad enough but when the girls get to the wolf compound its even worse than they thought。 Competition is rough and only a chosen few will have some kind of normal life。

each one of them was very interesting。 We see Poppy go through her pain and helplessness， through her hard but almost ineffective work to improve in the required activities and not end with the worst destiny。 But her potential as a warrior is impressive， I really want to see how this character will evolve。 On the other hand， Ryne was so intriguing and caught my attention from the first time he showed up。 The alpha prince is in a constant struggle between what he feels and how he's supposed to act， which made him very interesting。 I really liked the way he tries to protect Poppy and steal forbidden moments with her， I loved their interactions。 But my favorite character was Joanna with her rebellious and combative spirit， fighting against this terrible patriarchal and abusive world， supporting Poppy all the time。 Their friendship was so special。 On the other hand， I hated a few characters who were really horrible。In fact， the entire world of the wolves was aberrant and so creepy。 The way they treat humans， and especially women， is terrible。 Hence the importance of fighting against this entire system。 Some sensitive topics are covered in this book related to violence and abuse，
